No Other Way
What If
Resonate
The Movies Are Over
Say Your Last Goodbye
The Town of Lincoln
The Spine
Four Walls
Bird Of Feather
Swamp
Are You Interested
My Enemy
Bitter Pills
The sound at the uni was again, as usual set to an ear drum bursting level. The only difference was that it could handle COG - unlike the last time I was there for Strung Out.
The thumping bass during No Other Way and the ridiculously good riff and jamming at the of What If were both highlights to get the gig going...
Resonate, The Spine and My Enemy all great pics off their debut...but then again they dont have a bad song.
The lyrics of the new album particularly show COG's political awareness and dislike for the way the world is heading. The emotion on stage was evident. The 'One Human Family' and Che Guevara stickers caught the eye.
Straight home to get tickets sorted for the gig next sat at Waves in the gong.
Nobody better getting around in Australia at the moment.

1.3 Birds Of Tokyo
Thurs 4th September @ The Arena, Brisbane
Already booked in to see them on friday 12th in newy I stumbled across this date....we are going to be in brisbane to play the broncos the next day so why not. never been to a gig in brisbane. the arena proved to be a good venue, pretty intimate and good balcony set up.
The Birds sounds really good, solid set list of both the albums. Cant say the old and the new as they both came out within about 8 months of each other! As good as this band are, it still leaves me thinking - "bring on the next Karnivool album".
Went on the scenic tour around the valley to get to the gig....not my fault.
The queenslanders certainly making the most of a night out, with the main criteria for entry being 'almost full'!
Broken Bones
Wild Eyed Boy
Medicine
Black Sheets
Armour For Liars
Like Rain
An Ode To Death
Eduardo
Desperate
Violet
Train Wrecks
Get Out
Head In My Hands
Wayside
Off Kilter
Silhouettic
Attendees: Mazz & Shuey
